Donna Raines Glass grew out of my passion for horses, dogs, artwork and a desire to stay involved in the horse world. I started my riding career with trainer, Mickey Way, in Rochester, NY. I've loved working as a horse-show mom, groomer, and braider at New York Hunter/Jumper shows and events for my daughter, Tory. The current dog in my life, Sobe, is a delightfully active Border Terrier.

I stay actively involved in the horse world as an equine artist. Of all the media I work in I am best known for my glass painting. My self-taught painting technique has taken me thirteen years to develop by trial and error. My glass pieces have vibrant translucent color and intricate designs. My custom pictorial pieces are often used to celebrate a retirement, anniversary or special occasion. Donna Raines Glass has been featured as trophies at Walnut Hill Carriage Show, Twelve Oaks & Classic Oaks Horse Shows, Kateland Farms, Katydid CDE and other equine events throughout the Northeast. In 2010 I was a vendor at King Oak Farm Horse Trials, Old Salem Farm Horse Show, Stuart Horse Trials, and the Equine Affaire, Springfield MA.

My other venture,Ribbon Rehab, grew out of a surplus of competition ribbons. Ribbon Rehab is a set of directions to teach others to make their own ribbon quilts, wall hangings, pillows and more from their own competiton ribbons.
